Farmhouse Meat Marinade Recipe

This hearty Farmhouse Meat Marinade brings the flavors of the countryside to your kitchen, perfect for grilling or roasting. Infused with the richness of olive oil, herbs, and a blend of savory and sweet, this marinade works wonders with beef, pork, chicken, or lamb. It’s an easy, go-to recipe for transforming any meat into a tender, flavorful feast.

Introduction:

– 1/4 cup olive oil
– 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
– 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
– 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Prepare the Marinade:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and honey (or brown sugar) until well combined.

2. Add Aromatics and Herbs:
Stir in the minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, black pepper, and salt. Make sure all the ingredients are well incorporated.

3. Marinate the Meat:
Place your choice of meat in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, but for the best results, marinate overnight.

4. Cook:
When ready to cook, remove the meat from the marinade and let it sit at room temperature for about 15-30 minutes. Grill, roast, or pan-sear your meat to your desired doneness. Discard the remaining marinade.

5. Serve:
Enjoy your flavorful farmhouse-style meat with your favorite side dishes!
