Garlic Parmesan Fries are crispy, golden fries tossed in a flavorful mix of garlic and Parmesan cheese. Perfect as a snack or a side dish, these fries are seasoned with just the right amount of garlic and topped with freshly grated Parmesan, making them a savory treat everyone will love.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra garlic flavor)
  • Optional: A pinch of red pepper flakes for a bit of heat

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with non-stick spray.
  2. Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and peel the russet potatoes (optional). Cut them into thin fries, about 1/4-inch thick, for even cooking.
  3. Season the Fries: In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and optional garlic powder. Make sure the fries are evenly coated.
  4. Bake the Fries: Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are crispy and golden brown.
  5. Prepare Garlic Mixture: While the fries are baking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring frequently until the garlic is fragrant and golden. Remove from heat.
  6. Toss the Fries: Once the fries are done, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the garlic oil over the fries, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley (if using). Toss the fries gently until they’re evenly coated.
  7. Serve: Serve the Garlic Parmesan Fries hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if you like some heat. They pair perfectly with dipping sauces like garlic aioli, ranch, or ketchup!
