Pizza Fondue is a fun and delicious combination of two favorite dishes: pizza and fondue! This dip-style pizza dish brings together the flavors of pizza sauce, melted cheese, and your favorite toppings, making it perfect for parties, gatherings, or just a cozy night in.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (optional)
  • ½ cup cooked and crumbled sausage (optional)
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Crusty bread cubes, breadsticks, or vegetables for dipping

Directions:

  1. Prepare the base: In a medium saucepan, warm the pizza sauce over medium heat until it begins to bubble gently. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  2. Add the cheeses: Gradually add the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses to the warmed pizza sauce. Stir continuously until the cheeses are fully melted and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  3. Season: Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if desired) for extra flavor. Stir well to combine.
  4. Add toppings: Fold in any toppings like pepperoni, sausage, or diced vegetables. Allow them to heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve: Transfer the mixture to a fondue pot or a heatproof dish to keep warm. Garnish with fresh basil.
  6. Dip & Enjoy: Serve with crusty bread cubes, breadsticks, or vegetables for dipping, and enjoy your pizza fondue!
